Support Representative
Software Support Representatives provide phone and e-mail support to customers using our software applications. The duties include providing step-by-step instructions, answering questions, participating in online training sessions, developing help documentation and assisting with the setup and configuration of new customers. You will report to the Customer Support Manager to be mentored and trained to provide the highest quality support to our customers.
Skills & Qualifications
- Comfortable on the telephone assisting customers and providing user assistance
- Aggressive at resolving problems
- Effective working cooperatively in small teams
- Competent writing skills to explain complex tasks in email
- A calm and steady demeanor.
- Effective at managing difficult and demanding customer situations
- Exhibits good listening skills and adept at comprehending complex concepts
- Skillful at gathering and analyzes information
- Excellent writing skills (writing samples required)
- Top notch Excel skills, particularly manipulating large data sets
- Competence in other productivity software including PowerPoint, Access, MS Project
- In-depth computer or software technical skills a plus:
- (programming, databases, SQL, Crystal Reports, purchasing, accounting or ERP)
- Experience in the hospitality or senior living sectors a plus
- Knowledge of accounting and business processes preferred:

Configuration Specialist
The Software Configuration Specialist is part of our Implementations team and works closely with our project managers and other team members to setup and configure our software applications for new customers. Other duties include communicating with end users to gather or clarify requirements, to understand and troubleshoot setup problems and propose solutions.
New Configuration Specialists are assigned an experienced mentor. The mentor trains the new team member for an extended period of time to assure a high level of competency in the setup and configure of our customers’ business rules into the application.

Training Specialist
Software Training Specialists are part of our Software Training Team. The team provides online and on-site training to new customers on the proper use of our applications. The training team works closely with our Implementation project managers and other team members to prepare for and provide the highest quality end-user training to our customers. In addition to providing the training itself, duties include preparing training material, scheduling training, providing pre-training orientation to new customers, providing post-training follow-up, working with other team members to understand the specific business rules of each customer prior to training and assisting in the setup of the training environment with demonstration date to be used in the training class. Top notch written and in-person communication skills are required as well as a willingness to travel extensively throughout the US and the world.
New members to the training team are put through a rigorous internal training program including application usage, system setup, and training team procedures. New trainers will conduct numerous practice training sessions to internal audiences before being certified to conduct their first live customer training class.
