We are excited to announce that BirchStreet has been selected to provide its procure-to-pay (P2P) platform to Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, a leading luxury hotel brand that manages more than 85 world-class hotels and resorts around the world.
BirchStreet’s cloud-based application suite will be implemented at all Four Seasons properties worldwide, including the Toronto corporate headquarters. The rollout includes the following BirchStreet applications:
- Inventory Control
- Enterprise Recipe Management
- Accounts Payable Automation
Additionally, a number of supporting features, such as Advanced Workflow Approvals and Declining Checkbook Drilldown, will be implemented to route electronic documents through a custom workflow and to provide real-time visibility of operating budgets.
BirchStreet Spend Intelligence and Data Aggregation Services
Four Seasons will also be using BirchStreet’s Spend Intelligence tool and Data Aggregation services. The business intelligence solution combines BirchStreet’s analytical software with data mapping services to provide global enterprises item-level spend intelligence on a worldwide basis across regions, manufacturers and distributors. The resulting spend intelligence will allow Four Seasons to further leverage existing supplier contracts, as well as find opportunities for vendor consolidation and new vendor agreements. It will also provide important data to assist with aggressive vendor negotiations, volume commitments, as well as property and vendor compliance tracking and enforcement.
Enterprise Recipe Management
Four Seasons has also chosen the BirchStreet Enterprise Recipe Management Suite to power recipe and food cost management. Fully integrated into the BirchStreet procure-to-pay application suite, BirchStreet’s recipe management system allows organizations to maintain a library of recipes and share them across properties. Property-level users can create their own recipes, and see instant local cost, nutritional and allergen information. Also included are intelligent recipe scaling features, “What If” analysis, and a powerful Recipe Cost Alerts system that automatically monitors the cost of recipes through links to the e-Procurement’s online catalogs and alerts the user when cost exceeds predefined thresholds.
