Coming soon, BirchStreet Express is a simplified, consumer-like user interface that will sit atop BirchStreet’s enterprise-class procure-to-pay backbone.  BirchStreet’s current user interface (“BirchStreet Classic”) will continue to be supported and heavily invested in.  The new BirchStreet Express look can be switched on by user (allowing you to give Express or Classic to different users in a given property).  You get the same powerful in-property controls and above property analytics with either.

BirchStreet Express is aimed at limited service properties, less sophisticated or occasional users.  The Express look-and-feel uses familiar Amazon-style “Add to Cart” and “Check Out” shopping elements allowing users to quickly get in, get it ordered and get out.  Express also uses streamlined process flows, fewer buttons and a new dashboard view of products and categories (called “Swim Lanes”) providing users with a visual shopping experience.

BirchStreet Express will work with all your favorite BirchStreet features including Approvals, Order Guides, Checkbook, Punch-Out suppliers, Online Catalog Suppliers, Inventory Control, AP Automation, Recipe Management, etc.

BirchStreet Self-Provisioning

Also coming soon is the BirchStreet Self-Provisioning module.  Associations, affinity groups or franchisors who wish to offer a BirchStreet powered e-Commerce marketplace to their members can use the Self-Provisioning module to allow their members to register online for the initiative.   Member authentication is instant and is typically done via a membership ID and related information.  The qualifying member will then be able to setup their properties in the system and add and manage their users online, providing access to the sponsoring group’s online marketplace.
